Without them there is no publishing either print or digital. Writing is a layered and complex process and each catego- ry-fiction or non-fiction combine multiple elements which are all innovating. True, writing is not easy but a professional approach, per- severance and true empathy with written words should ensure you’re successful. A golden rule when attempting to write: never write any- thing which you, yourself, wouldn’t enjoy reading. What you choose to write and the style in which you write are influence by your own experience of life, your obser- vation, the cultural environment and even the place you live. These are the stimuli which feed your imagination in which you choose to express your idea. To become a successful writer you need three key factors in mind—a drive to produce good writing, a discipline to keep moving forward and a desire to be published. As a writer you should write with your heart because if you don’t have real sympathy with the genre then the plot will be wooden and boring, thus leaving readers cold. To find a niche as a writer you should have a reasonable standard of literacy and articulacy, a knowledge of how to package your words. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t produce that sparkling writing, any more than the next writer. Inside you’ll find information from exploring various genres of writing to analysing the market for publishing to develop a unique voice and sensibility in your writing.
