Highlights of Brides Today September 2018 issue:

As our cover stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra share their crackling chemistry both on and off screen and relationship tips for to-be brides and grooms, our September issue brings two exclusive bridal reports. The ultimate A-Z bridal jewellery guide decodes heritage items, culturally-inpisred bijoux, and shining must-haves for the jet-setting bride for the engagement, cocktail, mehendi, sangeet, wedding, and reception. The ‘Watches In Your Trousseau’ guide presents the most luxurious and trendsetting watches that are definitely bridal keepsakes. All of the watches featured in the report are the newest releases from two of the biggest international watch fairs — Basel World and SIHH 2018. There are style tips on each and every page of the Jewellery and Watch reports telling our readers how to pair the wedding-appropriate jewels and watches with their bridal attires and curate a specific look around the same.

Our D-Day Look section features four ‘His and Hers’ pages of curated delight for the discerning duo, spanning spreads of opulent couture and accessories handpicked across themes such as florals, baby pink, and paisley. It also features a shoot with Rahul Mishra’s latest ICW bridal ensembles, set against the mystical backdrop of Garden of Five Senses in Delhi, and an exclusive interview with him where he talks about millennial brides and the current state of Indian bridal couture. The shoot also features style tips, giving an idea of how to pair the ensembles well for a variety of pre-wedding and wedding celebrations.

The Vows section, which now appears prominently as one of the foremost sections of the magazine, features exclusive inputs from four wedding planners — both new and established — on designing the ideal autumn wedding.

The Bridal Couture section presents seven signature bridal looks inspired by seven distinctive cultural and regional wedding templates of India in an engaging bridal fashion editorial.

The Venue section decodes 10 palaces (heritage hotels) in India to get married at in the photo feature titled “The Jewels of India”.

All in all, the September issue of Brides Today is an opulent issue, covering a sumptuous array of precious gems, luxe watches, and more for the bride tribe.

India Today Group, India’s premier media conglomerate with  over 42 years of media heritage, announces new beginnings with Brides Today, a luxury wedding magazine, which is an extension of the group’s monopoly over the couture wedding space. The publication is a one-stop shop for brides, grooms, and their families to plan and execute luxe weddings. It offers the same high-end look and feel that readers and brands have come to love over the years with the group’s previous wedding publication.   Brides Today will publish 10 issues per year, targeting not only the bride and groom, but the entire bridal brigade and all high-life enthusiasts. The content boasts of luxury weddings, opulent bridal-wear and international lifestyle along with the latest trends in destination events, honeymoon hotspots, spectacular soirées, and more. It promises to make nuptial journeys a fairytale for every bride and groom to-be, as well as all attendees, scoping everything from dream dresses to diamonds, haute couture to décor.   Each of the 10 issues will have a central wedding theme, which will bind all the sections together. Depending on the theme of a particular issue, all the sections from fashion to wedding planning, from beauty to jewellery, will talk about bridal fashion, jewellery, destinations and planning tips related to executing that theme. In a nutshell, it will be an A-Z guide on that particular wedding theme.    “We are very excited to offer Brides Today, a one-of-its-kind content platform, which eases readers into this important category in India. I am honoured to be entrusted with such an overwhelming legacy and such a luxurious title. Being an India Today Group publication is a proud moment and we hope to provide our readers with the kind of content they want,” said Nupur Mehta Puri, the editor of the magazine.   The magazine will be an eclectic mix of modernity and tradition, the complete package for the contemporary couple looking to turn their wedding day dream to reality. The brand also addresses a groom’s needs too, with special features on men’s wear, lifestyle updates, and tips on grooming.
