The cover story‘Power of Quality’ was focused on how in all the rush to get initial power supply to consumers, an important aspect of quality of power is a neglected subject, despite its potential to boost industry and economy. 
Our  feature on ‘Smart Grids’ takes a look at the 14 smart grid pilot projects envisioned by the Government, which were small, but sure steps towards upgrading Indian power T&D infrastructure for the better. While, the feature on ‘Electric Motors’ has an overview of how the electrical equipment segment requires to adopt and implement effective energy efficient strategies to fuel growth.
We also interacted with Ramesh Kumar, Managing Director, Essar Power Gujarat Limited on the topic of power generation; and showcase a case study on micro-grids.
