Every year we focus on one big aspect of Music. This year we shine the spotlight on an eclectic bunch of musicians who have collaborated with different artists and created a sound that is unique and their own. Be it award winning writer Jeet Thayil's collaboration with musicians from different parts of the world or British artist Riz Ahmad and New York based Himanshu Malik collaborating on their music or Monica Dogra who will be out with her debut album Shaiir or tabla player Suphala who too creates music and tabla beats. Music is all about creating a sound that appeals is evolved and that speaks its own language and these musicians do just that. Along with that we have the legendary A.R. Rahman sharing his journey and interesting anecdotes from his life. Moving away from music we feature author Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi who shares snippets while celebrating 10 years of his book The last song of dusk and we see the very first collaboration between an international and indian author James Patterson and Ashwin Sanghi who collaborate on their novel Private India. Lastly ace photographer Bharat Sikka captures musicians through our fashion spread giving us visual appeal.
