It’s already nearing the end of the year, and I don’t really know how it went by so quickly. I guess I was too busy discovering people, and putting together interesting stories for our readers. Never a dull moment! Diwali will be here soon, then Christmas, followed by New Year celebrations. No time to rest; just time for fun, friends and family! And we Sindhi’s never do rest, do we? We are either having a good time working and making money, or making merry and taking holidays - both local and international! This time around, we discover a personality from overseas in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Vishen Lakhiani’s ‘Mindvalley’ is a $100 Million company and we converse with this highly successful entrepreneur to find out more. Closer to home in Mumbai, we catch up with Kavita Hurry, a Private Banker who directs people to create wealth simply, manage it systematically, and understand risk accordingly. Author Gita Simoes discusses her passion for design, travel, and all things Sindhi, among them, Sindhnama, a coffee table book too! Delhi introduces us to Sumit Israni, noted hair stylist and owner of a chain of 25 salons. His clients include the likes of Narendra Modi, Sonia Gandhi, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton, to name a few. Sister duo Sapna Rao from Singapore and Kaamna Bhojwani Dhawan from London tell us how they have succeeded in the highly competitive jewelry industry. Ravi Navlani, CEO of Surya Group, relates to us how he climbed the entrepreneurial ladder to reach the zenith of the company. Producer of over 500 episodes of fiction and non-fiction shows for many television channels and hotelier Vicky Tejwani, surprises us with his successes in both fields. Inside this quarter’s issue you will find the authority on Asian fashion – Divya Harilela, preschool teacher - Lavina Mitha, acclaimed physiotherapist – Dr Anjana Laungani, food entrepreneur - Reshma Sanghi, event planners - Sneha Tejwani & Anisha Bathija, and child psychologist Varsha Morani amongst others. It does not get more varied than this!

The very first of its kind, this plush quarterly is dedicated to chronicling the ethos, enterprise, and aplomb of the Sindhi community. A Magazine that brings you Insights into Sindhi History, its Culture and its People. A Magazine that takes you places and showcases Sindhis from all over the world. A Magazine that informs and connects Sindhis globally. Published 4 times a year.
