It’s Diwali and we’ve been celebrating with our own kind of fireworks. The November issue finds us behind the wheel of the legendary Nissan GT-R. It’s taken a while to come down to India but now that it has, we’ve wasted no time and taken it for a blast down one of India’s best public roads. Then there’s the new Audi TT RS. If you thought the TT was not very potent in its standard guise, the German carmaker has this version, with over 90bhp more on tap. We also went for a couple of interesting rides – a relaxed cruise on Indian’s Scout Sixty and a back-breaking, convention-defying long distance haul from Pune to Goa on Aprilia’s SR150 scooter. That’s right, we did a 450km ride on a scoot! And we put a NASCAR on a track with actual corners! In drives, we sampled Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo’s new S90 sedan, the petrol powered new Toyota Innova and the long awaited diesel version of the new VW Ameo. We also managed to catch up with K P Aravind, one of the two Indian hopefuls at the upcoming edition of the Dakar Rally. Along with that, there’s glimpses from the Paris motor show and the Intermot show in Germany, and the usual excitement from the world of motorsports. Happy reading!
