In the September 2014 issue of Sanctuary Cub, Jennifer Scarlott tells you the story of the Dukdukdiya, a tiny, golden hummingbird that inspired a couple of amazing people; Nikita Mor takes you on a trip underwater; Ankita Jha introduces you to the flamingoes of Mumbai; Rahul Alvares tells you about the turtles of Goa and photographer Ripan Biswas shares gorgeous images of a monsoon-drenched Coochbehar at the foothills of the Himalaya.

The overwhelming response to Sanctuary Asia led to the birth of Sanctuary Cub, a children's nature magazine, in 1984. Sanctuary Cub reaches out to children across India through schools and nature clubs. We also conduct nature walks, camps, slide shows and rallies for children with the help of qualified naturalists and environmental educationists.
