Highlights of Brides Today February 2019 issue: Keeping with the anniversary theme that we follow every February, we will have guest editors on all our product and theme pages.   Our 100 guest editors are basically people who matter from various walks of fashion, lifestyle, glamour, hospitality, and entertainment along with some of the most loved and influential names from the luxury blogging sphere who will share their thoughts on their favourite pieces of jewellery and accessories, go-to wedding wear pieces, beauty essentials, covetable wedding gifts, dream wedding and honeymoon destinations. However, the biggest buzz we are creating this time around is that all the guest editors will be picking a muse, which will be the focal point for our layout.   We have four covers with the magazine content remaining the same all. The first cover is graced by Sonam Kapoor in the finest bridal couture by Tarun Tahiliani. For the second cover, we have the Prince Of Jaipur, Sawai Padmanabh Singh shot his regal residence—The City Palace. With a worldly yet holistic experience at such a young age, Singh wear many hats, he has walked at International fashion weeks, is a part of the national Polo team and much more, he is being portrayed as the most suitable bachelor. The third cover features new kids on the block; Radhika Apte and Ayushmann Khurrana, who have recently delivered a blockbuster Andhadhun, extending that to portray them as a power couple. Kunal Rawal and Karan Johar make the fourth and final cover. One, a menswear designer to stars and the other an iconic director and style influencer, they come together as ‘it’ boys of fashion.   Additionally, we have shot with 6 tinsel town couples who share their fond memories of their marriage and what keeps them together. We have also done a Jewellery feature shoot that takes inspiration from the cultural diversity of 5 cities and their traditional wedding ensemble. We have also explored the by-lanes of Kolkata in a story on the coming together of different types of 2D and 3D prints from the bridal point of view. Since marriages and astrology are closely related, we have dived into the nuances of star sign, projecting their characteristics on to well-curated outfits for a bride from every sun sign.   Two eminent features for a bride are in-depth interviews; one being an account of historic jeweller Faberge and their masterpieces that inspire a bride’s jewellery trousseau and the second is a feature on homegrown ayurvedic beauty brand Forest Essentials that decodes ingredients that can be incorporated into a bride’s pre and post-wedding beauty ritual. Our issue also consists of two extensive listicles—first, a list of the 20 most desirable bachelors of the country, a little about them and their quirks; and second, is an indulgent list of 40 spas where couples can refresh and rejuvenate.   We also have a comprehensive gift guide curated by 4 guest editors that features a composite of lust-worthy presents ranging from fashion, accessories, home décor, beauty, kitchenware, gadgets, and flowers.   All in all, our well-curated Feb issue is packed with the power of influencers, to say the least.
