Highlights of India Today Malayalam issue dated February 19th, 2014. The issue had the cover story on the fast by K. K. Rema, wife of slain RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan. Kaleeswaram Raj. The dimming prospects of Congress in reclaiming the rule in the centre, thanks to its internal anarchy, was examined in another major story. Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitaas dreams of primeministership as she joins hands with CPIM and CPI and thus to the much awaited third front and her challenged ahead are also discussed. The existential predicament of north-east Indians in Delhi and elsewhere was studied in a story, set in the backdrop of the murder of Nido Tania, a 19-year-old boy in Delhi. How privatization bids ruin the ecologically fragile Thekkady is explored in a story on Periyar Tiger Reserve. Another attraction of the package was a feature on new entries in the automobile field, in the background of Delhi auto show.
