Knowledge on its own is nothing, but the application of useful knowledge, now that is powerful. Nearly 100 years from its birth, radiology continues to grow as though still in its adolescence. Radiology has evolved from purely diagnostic devices to interventional technologies. Today Radiology is a key part of clinical practice across a wide range of medical disciplines. It is usually the best, minimally invasive way of diagnosing, treating or monitoring disease and injury. Radiology has become an integral part of any exam whether in India or abroad. This short book illustrates common entities encountered in day-to-day Pediatric practice. This work is done keeping in mind needs of Pediatricians – residents, students, consultants and teachers in medical colleges. It would come handy for students appearing in various exams such as DNB-OSCE, MRCPCH and MD exams. This book contains basics like sequential interpretation of chest and abdominal radiographs. Images of common entities, differential diagnosis and various signs in Radiology are briefly discussed in this handbook. I earnestly hope this book will enlighten the Pediatricians in clinical practice with additional knowledge and expertise and help them improve their Radiological skills.
