The book is about a common man named Raghuveer Choudhury, Alias, Basuri Babu, alias Raghu who suffers the poigance of betrayal from his first wife Rupika and he choose to live isolated in a village,named Madhupur where he accidently taken as a holy sage by the in inhabitant and there he met with Shiulika who became his second wife, gave him every support to gain his previous life,with the support od Shiulika and other, he became a reputed person, but his fate took a u-turn when Rupika comes back to him after thirteen years in Madhupur. At the end Raghuveer, aliasBasuri baba left Madhupur to an ambigious place which was not traced by anyone.
