Highlights of India Today Telugu issue dated January 13th, 2014: This edition carried English Edition's Cover Story 'what's Cool in 2015' as Cover. The story focused on the fledgling trends, which will be in full bloom over the course of the next 12 Months. Big Story 'In a State of Constant Alarm' is about Assam massacre of 76 Adivasis on 21st December. The story suggests that the incident may have just opened floodgates for more bloodbaths. Main story from the region 'Capital Crusade' is about recent developments around Andhra Pradesh's proposed Capital. Unidentified persons burnt the paddy and banana fields of some farmers in Tulluru, where the AP government wants to build new capital. Incidentally those of who declined to give their lands to government for the purpose were subjected to fire. Although the local MLA and other leaders denying about the hand of the ruling party behind the incident, Farmers are strongly showing their fingers on it only. Regulars like Snippets on Telugu film industry have also been carried.
