About this issue

It is the UN Day! And we have a special delight of a feature for you. Today's feature is packed with surprises...a story, two puzzles, a very special feature on UN in Numbers, and career guidance on how to be a microbiologist!    Page 1 has the most important news of the day - it is the UN Day! And an update on the Canadian elections.    Page 2 has Sanskrit (a very useful Sukti today), Hindi (the Lokokti with the story), a puzzle, a Tell us Why, and a very interesting quote (related to the UN, of course).    Page 3 has a story in the Editorial and Career Guidance by Deepika Suman Sharma on a rare career - microbiology!    Pages 4 and 5 bring you a new edition of Chandamama in the Fan Club - August 2000 - a fairly recent one.    Page 6 is a special feature - the UN in numbers.    Page 7 has the Sports News, Ayush's very funny Bob Mania, a lovely Hindi poem, and Laugh-a-lot-it-is by Ishaan Kaila.    Enjoy the edition!    Love,   Nidhi aunty
