The newspaper was founded in 1949 by Abid Ali Khan and Mehboob Hussain Jigar. Siasat (Urdu) is an Indian Urdu language newspaper from the south Indian city of Hyderabad, Naizam Telangana. Its Editor in Chief is Zahid Ali Khan. It has online editions too in both English and Urdu Languages.
