To be honest, it is almost next to impossible for a tech-savvy user—like you and me—to get through a day without using a smartphone—maybe just because we are somehow dependent on certain productivity and utility apps to get our things done. But, at the same time, it is now crucial to take steps to find a balance with technology. With that in mind, the tech giant Google recently introduced six helpful Digital Wellbeing experimental apps. Each experiment centers around a different behaviour, offering small ways to help improve your digital wellbeing and find a balance with technology that feels right for you.
For example, Unlock Clock app displays the number of times you unlock your phone in a day. We Flip app helps families and friends disconnect from technology together by simultaneously flipping a big switch, setting their phones to “Do Not Disturb” mode. And, the app called Desert Island helps you to find focus by spending a day only using your essential apps. Check out our Cover Story to know about all these apps in detail and why you should try them once.
Pushing its plans to make the internet more accessible, inclusive and empowering for everyone in India, Google recently held the fifth edition of its annual ‘Google for India’ event. At the event, Google announced its partnership with BSNL to bring fast, reliable and secure public Wi-Fi to villages in Gujarat, Bihar and Maharashtra. In addition, Google announced the launch of Vodafone-Idea Phone Line—supported by the Google Assistant—to help the hundreds of millions of Indians who use 2G phones get the information they need, without requiring data or an internet connection. That’s not all! Google also announced the launch of Google Research India — an AI research lab in Bengaluru, a brand new ‘Google Pay for Business’ app for merchants, and a ‘Jobs Spot’ on Google Pay app. This is designed to help job seekers find and prepare for entry-level positions that fit their needs. Nowadays, the facilities offered by Smartphones through numerous mobile applications are becoming increasingly synonymous with our daily activities, both at home and at work. Undoubtedly, the presence of mobile applications is changing the way we work, live and interact with people. From paying bills to booking cabs, locating blood donor to managing diet plans , mobile banking to networking; mobile applications offers almost everything just at our fingertips, helping us to cope up with our hectic routines.
But as per our study, Smartphone users always stay confused which app to download or not to download. Moreover, they don’t have enough time to browse through the app market to gain firsthand experience.
On the other side, there is a challenge for app developers or promoters to instigate the user to download their apps, given the burgeoning number of similar apps available across multiple operating platforms.
Keeping all these points into consideration, AppCrazy Media has launched a magazine “Apps Unveiled” with dedicated content on mobile applications (or apps). Our team will unveil selected mobile apps across different categories such as entertainment, games, lifestyle, utility, safety, security, health, productivity, travel etc. available on different operating platforms namely, Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows, Java and Symbian after thorough ground work and research.
Our readers would get a chance to explore a whole new world of mobile apps apart from few commonly known apps. Also, they will understand how they can use their Smartphone’s more smartly by effectively using the mobile apps to meet their day to day need on the go.
For app developers or promoters, it’s more than a magazine, an opportunity to reach mass Smartphone user base in India and to inform them about in-depth functionality of their mobile applications. Advertise with us to reach the right audience in a smarter way.
