IPF Dec 2019 had 3 Focus Sections – “Industrial Automation & Robotics”, “Test & Measuring Instruments”, and “Region Special - Delhi-NCR”. While the long term advantages of automation to SMEs are undisputed, the focus on operational activities and lack of long term vision constraints smaller organisations to invest in automation. The lead article of Focus 1 emphasised on the need to create and communicate frugal automation solutions for SMEs in order to serve the “Bottom of the Pyramid”. The growth of India’s test and measurement (T&M) equipment market is primarily attributed to the growth of the electronic industry in India. Factors like rise in the use of smart devices and growth of wireless technology and government initiatives are towing the industry positively. “Focus 2” took a closer look at the growth drives and emerging opportunities in T&M equipment market. “Focus 3” explores the potential of Delhi-NCR region for manufacturing companies.
Industrial Products Finder (IPF), a pioneer industrial journal in India, was launched in 1972. It gives industrial manufacturers and exclusive dealers/importers of industrial products a forum to display their ware, in a medium that was to be made regularly available to the users of these products.
