In October 2019, the ITJ celebrates its 130th anniversary. This special edition has three cover stories—Cotton, Synthetics & Technical Textiles—with inputs from industry stalwarts for each of the three segments. Face2Face section features two interviews – Alessandro Zucchi, President of ACIMIT, and Thomas Waldmann, MD of VDMA Textile Machinery Association. Bluesign CEO, Jill Dumain features in our newly-launched ‘New Face’ section. Spotlight is on RoDTEP, a new attractive scheme for remission of duties or taxes on export product, which is going to replace the existing merchandise exports from India scheme (MEIS).
