16 years have gone by, and it feels like the blink of an eye. Time does seem to pass quickly when you enjoy what you do, and that too, when you do something that is community oriented. Iam proud to say that “The Sindhian” is fondly considered to be the best in its segment!

As always, wetry and bring forth Sindhis from various spheres and showcase them to our readers. Befittingly, this time around, we discovered a sculptor, a businessman, and a man of many talents, Raj Shahani from New York and had him grace our cover. His works of art really amazed us.

From Delhi, we talked to the renowned Hiroo Khushalani and his daughter Raksha, whose company is among India’s leading oil equipment manufacturers.

Mauritius-based Sham Panjabi, and his sons Sahil and Simraan inspired us with their story of how they changed the hospitality sector through their linen offerings.

Dentist and ardent cyclist Dr. Arvind Advani gave us a lesson in making fitness fun. Ahmedabad brought us in touch with artist Priya Anand Pariyani. Hitesh Mulchandani impressed us with his catering for events and creating exclusively designed customised menus.

Needless to say, several other talented people like designer Avvantikaa Parwani, artist Shweta Rohira (who took on the incarnations of Durga to better explain the festival of Navratri), Rohan Nihalani, Dinesh Gajria, Kiran Dembla, Chirag Tekchandaney, Meghna Motwani and Akshay Pai, Karishma Kewalramani, Hitesh Ramchandani, Sangeeta Jagtiani Vaswani, and Sachin Wadhwani, all gave us an insight into what they do, and why they do it!

With the festive season on, and the end of the year near, I hope that you will enjoy this issue as much, if not more, than any of our previous ones. Wish you all Happy Holidays and a prosperous start to 2020!
