Come the month of March and the festival of Ugadi is upon us. Celebrated as the Telugu New Year, it marks the beginning of the spring festival and hence is a joyous festival signifying growth and prosperity. As is with every Hindu festival, food plays a prominent role during the festival of Ugadi.
