Highlights of  Harper’s Bazaar  India August 2016, issue: The theme for the August issue is Feminism Now. Bazaar invite writers, artists, and photographers to talk about what feminism means to them, in a separate section within the magazine. People like Tishani Doshi, Kaveree Bamzai, Sidharth Bhatia, Avtar Singh, and Kanish tharoor come together to start a conversation. This theme extends in other sections of the magazine, like beauty, where Lisa Ray writes about her battle with cancer and learning to find beauty, and fashion, where publisher Chiki Sarkar shares her evolving relationship with fashion. In our features section, we have director Meera Menon, whose film Equity focuses on women in the wall street, rapper activist Sofia Ashraf, and a special on the men changing the culinary landscape of India. Our cover story with Emilia Clarke, a true feminist, features her in fashion’s biggest trend—candy pastels—and we have a shoot featuring Gucci’s new collection.
