Highlights of India Today – 15th July 2019 issue: This week’s issue talks about the Kargil War, India’s first televised war, which ended 20 years ago on July 26, 1999. India Today had covered the Kargil War in depth with eight back-to-back issues detailing every aspect of the conflict between and how Pakistan was forced to withdraw its troops from the heights. The cover story ‘The Kargil Diaries’ is a flashback of the conflict between the two countries.
