By way of explanation, he added that games were being played to create social tension, so that some untoward incident takes place. ON NATION Services disrupted for over three hours STAFF REPORTER / MUMBAI On the first day of the work week, on a scorcher of a morning, Central Railway commuters on Harbour Line had to endure the extra torment of a derailment – a coach of a Panvel-CSMT local train slipped off the rails at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on Monday morning, throwing suburban services for a toss. The incident occurred around 11.35am, as the train was entering Platform No. 2, resulting in the cancellation of 52 local trains and the short termination of 26 others at Wadala. No passengers were injured in the derailment; however, the disruption caused significant inconvenience to commuters. This delay resulted in the train reaching Mumbai Central an hour behind schedule, arriving around 12.35pm. A passenger activist expressed concern about the incident, highlighting the importance of reliability and safety on India’s premium trains like the Vande Bharat Express. Upon inquiry a senior official of WR revealed , that a technical issue in the door of the C-10 coach resulted in the malfunctioning of all the doors. Technical staff and officials intervened to resolve the issue, allowing the train to depart from Surat after the 50-minute delay . Despite the inconvenience, officials ensured that the air-conditioning system remained functional throughout the ordeal. GAURAV VIVEK BHATNAGAR / NEW DELHI The Delhi police on Monday summoned Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy and three other Congress leaders from the state to appear before its Cyber Unit on May 1 in connection with the investigation into the Amit Shah “deep fake” video case. The case pertains to the Union Home Minister’s speech at Siddipet in Medak district of Telangana in which he had spoken about removing the four per cent “unconstitutional" reservation for Muslims in the state. The BJP had alleged that the speech was deliberately doctored by Congress leaders to show that Shah was talking about ending reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes altogether in the country . The case was registered on April 28 by the Special Cell of Delhi police under Sections 153, 153A, 465, 469 and 171G of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 66-C of Information Technology Act. The First Information Report was registered after Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which is under the Ministry of Home Affairs, filed a complaint about the ‘doctored’ video of Shah.
