Dear Readers,
Wishing you a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. As we step into January—a month that invites fresh beginnings, reflection, and intention—we’re delighted to welcome you to our first edition of the year, one that celebrates creativity, individuality, and the many ways we express who we are.
We begin 2026 with a Feature Story on Art and Fashion, exploring how the two have long shared a relationship that goes far beyond inspiration. Across history, clothing has evolved into a living canvas—carrying paintings, symbols, and narratives on the body. From Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Mondrian dresses of 1965 to the bold influence of Pop Art in the decades that followed, fashion became a space where art was not merely referenced, but worn, photographed, and circulated.
Gracing our cover this month is the graceful and grounded Pragya Jaiswal. With a journey that spans law, modelling, and a flourishing career in Telugu cinema, Pragya embodies quiet self-assurance and intentional growth. Known for her poise on screen and her thoughtful approach to life off it, she represents a new generation of actors—those who value depth over spectacle, balance over burnout, and authenticity above all. Read about her journey in Cover Story.
In Making a Mark, Surabhi Suri reflects on her enduring belief that food is a form of storytelling — one that connects, moves, and lingers beyond the plate. Returning to You & I after her historic World Vegetarian Champion win, she shares how purpose, intuition, and global recognition have seamlessly come together in her journey.
In our People in Focus section, we bring you stories rooted in purpose and personal truth. Tanaaz Doshi, who wears many hats, speaks candidly about spiritual balance, harmony, and the reflective phase of life she is currently embracing. We also spotlight Kimi Jain and Rica Jain, the founders of Kimirica, a self-care brand built on intention, emotion, and integrity. The co-sisters turned co-founders share how their distinct journeys in brand experience and pharmaceutical science come together to create products that are indulgent yet ethical, deeply personal, and proudly Made in India.
Our Mind & Body section turns inward with a reflective piece on ‘Finding Yourself in a Crowd’. From cultural gatherings to music festivals, we explore how shared experiences have the power to slow us down, awaken our senses, and gently bring us back to the present moment.
As we begin this new year together, we hope 2026 is filled with meaningful stories, mindful living, and moments that allow you to truly be present.
