Art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting, sculpture, print, drawing, decorative art, photograph, and installation. But what is it really? Art is something that makes you delve deeper into the meaning of an object than what meets the eye at the mere surface. As Edger Degas once said, “Art is not what you see but what you make others see.”
We are surrounded by art everywhere—on public walls as graffiti, on the walls of our homes as paintings, resting in museums as sculptures or portraits, and adding character to spaces as artefacts. These are all created by masterminds who truly see what others only catch a glimpse of. In our Feature Story this week, we feature six of the most successful and popular artists of the country whose works speak volumes of their talent.

She has, in her eight year-long career, essayed many roles ranging from a small town girl to a glam diva, a historic character to a bold one.
