One of the most important harvest festivals of India is Makar Sankranti
and Hyderabad in particular celebrates it with gusto. Hyderabadi’s
are well-known for making the most of it with the blue skies across
the city being dotted with colorful kites being a common sight. Both
kids and adults indulge themselves with equal fervour, and kite-flying
competitions are common during this season.
Of course, the city folks need any occasion to celebrate and Sankranti
is the perfect excuse to throw parties on their terraces with drinks and
