Everyone has at some point of time heard of the term ‘DIY’, and very often many of us must have wondered what it means. DIY is an acronym for
‘Do it yourself’ and the term refers to the process of remodeling or creating new products yourself, from things that are available around the home, rather than hiring a professional or purchasing a new product. Many people want to make the most of everything they have—whether recreating an old T-shirt into a T-shirt for your pet or even how to make a magazine holder out of an old box of cereal. This week’s Feature is an interesting read for all those creative souls who like to create innovative and quirky products themselves.
On our cover is the gorgeous Indo-German-American
model-turned-actress Evelyn Sharma who has over 10 films to her name in a span of just five years! Not only that, she’s also hosted a travel show and started an NGO, Seams for Dreams. Read more about her diverse career graph in Cover Story.
In People we have the talented sister duo, Keerti Reddy Nori and Akhila Reddy who started a company that manufactures and sells all-natural clip-in hair extensions for the Indian mane. For all those who want fuller, luscious locks, your prayers are answered!
Our Mind & Body takes the theme of DIYs forward by listing out some homemade packs that can easily be made with ingredients that are readily available in your kitchen cabinet.
Lastly, Shona Nivedita Chakravarti takes us through her trip to New Zealand, where she participated in several adventurous activities and visits to vineyards, along with her father, in Grand Getaways.

And tell us what you think. If you have any
suggestions, comments or queries, please e-mail me at publisher@you-and-i.com.
