Dear readers
I was waiting to do today's edition for over a month! So much apprehension! Hope that one has been able to do justice to both the awesome celebrations that we have today - Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan.
Today's edition is a bumper 10 pages!
The cover story is, of course, about Independence Day.
Page 2 has the usual Sanskrit, but today, we carry greetings in Sanskrit for 3 occasions - can you guess what they are? Special thanks to Gavish sir for helping with these Sanskrit greetings. Page 2 also has the Hindi muhavara, the English quote, Word Magic, and 2 puzzles - enjoy!
Page 3 has the editorial and the second part of the Learn Japanese feature.
Page 4 has the Chandamama Fan Club.
Pages 5 and 6 have a very special feature - we asked some readers - As an Indian, what are you grateful for? Read their heartwarming answers. Page 6 also has 2 news items - the first is about the President's address to the nation, and the second is about the awards that were handed out today. These are important awards. Do take a minute to read about them.
Page 7 has Piano Made easy by Angad Singh. Today, he teaches you how to play Vande Mataram.
Page 8 has the Sports News, Laugh-a-lot-it-is by Ishaan Kaila, Bob Mania by Ayush, and a lovely song snippet.
Enjoy the edition!
Love, Nidhi aunty.
