Today's lead story is from the USA, where yet another exit from the core leadership team has just happened.

The second story is for our astronomy fans, because they are in for a triple treat - a solstice (you can record the time of sunset and sunrise to record your observations on how a solstice works), a full moon, and a meteor shower (which we won't be able to see because, well, the moon will be too bright).

ISRO has done India proud yet again by launching a special communication satellite. Read all about it in our half page feature on Page 2. Praneeth Udathu covers Bulgaria today.

Your favourite Word Magic and Quote of the Day are both there, but we won't tell you about the trivia about Alaska that appears today - wait until it makes you jump.

There is also a poem, for the first time ever, by the editor herself - Neha aunty. The Junior Puzzle Corner has 3 riddles for you. Let's see how well you fare.

Aditya Nema's Cool Comix is really cool and makes you think about new year resolutions.. in a different way.

- On behalf of Neha aunty
