In the run up to IFSEC India 2015, the 8-city roadshow, India Security Yatra, has kicked-off to reach out to security professionals, solution providers and system integrators spread across the country’s length and breadth. Starting from Bengaluru, the response of participants representing the security industry has been rather upbeat after the recent development where Home Minister Rajnath Singh has proposed clubbing the Smart Cities and Safe Cities projects together. The underlying purpose for carrying out roadshows in 8 cities of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi is to give security professionals hailing from a specific region a better chance to tune in to the recent developments, and showcase their latest innovations to targeted audiences based in their respective region. Presenting Partners for the India Security Yatra are Com-Sur, Hikvision, Lookman, and Matrix Comsec. Mindtree on the other hand has joined India Security Yatra as an Associate Partner. IFSEC India has also decided to give away first 500 system integrators who register online, full reimbursement of AC 3 tier train travel this year with the aim of lending a boost to pre-registered visitors to the event which is set to take the visibility and business securing opportunities for exhibitors several notches higher. This year IFSEC India is expected to host 300 exhibitors from over 20 countries such as UK, USA, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Lithuania and South Africa. It is aiming to bring together about 15,000 trade visitors which will exceed the visitor turnout by 25% from last year. Understanding how strong an interconnection technology shares with the security industry, IFSEC India 2015 will proactively decipher relevant insights gained in the global security market for Indian security professionals and is conducting a conference based on the theme of safe cities covering a diversity of topics such as smart cities and IoT, among others. This year companies such as Aditya, Autocop, Dahua, Enter, Hi-Focus, Hikvision, Lookman, Secureye, Securico, Tech Smart, Uniview, Zebronics have come on-board as Premier Plus partners so far, while Premier Partners are Acsys, Avtron, Canon, Com-Sur, Godrej Security Solutions, Honeywell, Infinova, Keeper, Messung, MR Impex, Nitgen, Ozone, Panasonic, Starex Global and Wavesight.
