Seeing life from very close quarters, my Stories have caught it’s reflection. Sometimes I wanted to see my own face in the mirror of life and that has often been reflected in my own creations. Very little in my stories are imaginative narrations. I am primarily a playwright, and Chekhov, Maupassant, O’Henri, Rabindranath Tagore, Tarashankar, Manik , Bibhuti’s have greatly influenced my writing , showing me a path to follow. I can never deny that. In Plays, one has to use only dialogue to build up a story; this might explain the presence of too many dialogues in the story. I do not believe that it has mutilated the story in any ways, but has helped it to move forward strongly.
