120 FIRMS LAUNCH 200 HEALTH SUPPLEMENTS IN 2019-2020

The health supplements market comprising vitamins / minerals / nutrients in India is Rs 12,280 crore growing at 9.1 per cent for MAT February 2020. During April 2019 – February 2020, the health supplements market was valued at Rs 11,361 crore. According to AIOCD Pharmasofttech AWACS report, from January to December 2019, over 100 companies have launched 200 health supplement brands. Most of these brands are not the new products but approved products with additional ingredients, which give additional health benefits.
