At the onset, here’s thanking all of you—our
readers, advertisers, and social media
followers for your support through our journey
of 9 years. Our growth and success just
wouldn’t have been possible without you all.
Our 9th anniversary copy also marks our 470th
issue, a big number indeed, and this time too
we’ve got many special features and articles to
look out for; beginning with the cover, which
has everyone’s favourite bhai, Salman Khan,
and the gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez,
in a stunning frame, shot for the
Being Human Jewellery campaign. Cover
Story has more details about the brand, which
is the brainchild of Salman himself.
Our Feature this month is a spectacular
compilation of India’s 25 most glamorous
people, from various walks of life. Read up on
their style mantra or drool over the splendid
pictures like we did while putting this together.
In People we have three highly talented
individuals from diverse backgrounds—ace
couturier Raghavendra Rathore, interior
designer Raseel Gujral Ansal; and artist and
heir of the Vazifdar family and
daughter-in-law of the Poonawalla family,
Michelle Poonawalla. And In the Spotlight
is co-founder of Amrapali— one of India’s
most successful jewellery brands, Tarang
Arora. Each one speaks to us about their
career graph and how they manage their
personal and professional lives. If you are a
connoisseur of beautiful architecture or just
someone who’s intrigued by the country’s
heritage and history, you’re sure to love
this month’s Sensational Spaces. We have
two breathtaking palaces—the Laxmi Vilas
Palace in Baroda and Hutheesing Haveli in
Ahmedabad, belonging to the Gaekwad and
Hutheesing families respectively. 2016 has
been all about women in terms of Bollywood,
with several women-centric films being made
and actresses being given equal recognition
as their male counterparts. Taking this thought
forward, in the Special Feature we have four
of India’s top female chefs who’ve made it
big in the culinary field. Lastly, in Wedding
Moments we have photographs from Yuvraj
Singh and Hazel Keech’s big day.
