Dear children
Sunday is not called Fun-day for nothing. Like every week, we have full-on fun planned for you. Whether you are a word searcher or an ornithologist, a maze maniac or a Sudoku stud, this paper has something for you.
The lead news is about onion prices. While the news itself has the facts - price rise, imports to meet the demand, the question I want to leave you with is - Why was onion at 1 re per kilo in Dec 2018, and at 200 rs per kilo in December 2019? We have been an independent country for 72 years.
The second news is about the return of Measles - according to a report that was released by the WHO today.
Page 2 is where the fun begins! This edition has:
A. Maze Mania
B. Cosmic Yoga by Dimple Tanna
C. Name the bird by Bhavneet S Aurora
D. Sudoku Salsa
E. Ridley the Riddle Turtle
F. Word Magic
Phew! If that's not a comprehensive brain gym, we don't know what is!
For our young readers, we have a Mother Goose Rhyme in the Junior Reading.
Page 4 has the Sports News, Sudoku, and the Idiom flashcard.
Enjoy the edition!
Love
