Dear Artistic Readers,

"Almost all creativity requires purposeful play." - Abraham Maslow

With today's paper, we are bringing that purpose to you as we start a small mission to create our own visual dictionary for children. As all our endeavours are incomplete without your contribution this too needs your help. So, put on your creative hats and bring us your artistic interpretation of the word in our very new "The Word Artist" column.

Coming to the rest of the paper - On Pg 1 read news about India making history by capturing the world's largest wildlife survey on camera. The second news story is about one of the world's oldest encyclopaedia being auctioned.

Pg 2 be informed about the Hieroglyphic Writing and our word for the "Word Artist" column.

On Pg 3 is a new lesson in Japanese by Anupama aunty and on page 4 we have a new column to keep you abreast with the digital terms - The Digital Cyclopaedia. Along with that is the Brain Tickler - send in your entries to become the Monday Mastermind.

Pg 5 includes the artist corner, sudoku salsa, cartoon corner, and on this day in sports!

Lots of love,

Shivani aunty
